JW Marriott Chicago
We have a room block at the beautiful JW Marriott in downtown Chicago - The same location where our reception will be held. Secure your room using the “Book Now” button below at your earliest convenience to receive the discounted rate of $259 per night. Rooms must be booked by September 4, 2026, to secure the discounted rate. Should you choose to book without using our link, please ensure to tell the JW Marriott that you are with the Wakeman/Joyce wedding.
Charter Bus Service
There will be transportation provided for guests via charter bus service from the JW Marriott to the ceremony, with return service for the reception. The buses will leave the hotel promptly at 2:00 p.m. and will be awaiting return at the end of the ceremony. Should you chose to not use the transportation provided, please consider Chicago’s unpredictable traffic when deciding when to leave. Please do not be late!
Parking in downtown Chicago can be limited, so we encourage guests to plan ahead. The JW Marriott offers valet parking services for $88 per night or self-park for $66 per night. There are various parking garages nearby with more budget-friendly options should you choose to park elsewhere. To book a spot ahead of time at a nearby garage, we recommend using apps such as ParkWhiz, SpotHero, and iParkit. Please note that street parking is very limited in the Loop, where the JW Marriott is located.
For guests traveling from out of town, Chicago is easily accessible by two airports. O’Hare International Airport (ORD), located northwest of the city, is Chicago’s largest airport and offers the most flight options. Midway International Airport (MDW), situated just south of downtown, is a convenient alternative with many domestic routes.
Upon arrival, there are several options for reaching the JW Marriott:
Ride Services & Taxis: Uber, Lyft, and taxis are readily available at both airports.
Public Transit: From O’Hare, the Blue Line provides a direct train route to downtown, with a stop just a few blocks from the JW Marriott. From Midway, the Orange Line offers a similar direct connection.
Car Rentals: Both airports also offer rental car services, though we recommend planning ahead for parking plans.
